As a closeout to 2020, BUAMA participated in the PODS Case Competition! Competing with nearly 20 other chapters around the U.S., BUAMA was directed to create a more effective marketing strategy for PODS in order to gain the attention of younger generations. It has become apparent that a higher percentage of young individuals are beginning to attend college and rent apartments rather than buy homes. This is where PODS comes in, as it offers a stress-free storage service for people who are always on the move. Because PODS has already gained the attention of older generations, AMA chapters worked to formulate strategies to attract younger generations, implementing social media marketing and different incentives for the younger generations. The overall goal for AMA chapters was to persuade the younger generation into becoming lifetime customers!
