At the University of Pittsburg's 6th Annual AMA Case Competition, Bloomsburg AMA marketing majors got an opportunity to strut their stuff. The Pittsburg Case Competition is a regional event that numerous schools participate in annually.
Bloomsburg AMA teams scored at this year's event, in the overall competition one team that placed third, and a second team that tied for fourth.
Third place team: Phillip Denelsbeck, Matt Cotter, and Kyle Murphy
Fourth place team: Emily Spaulding, Hailey Whittingham, and Morgan Yobst
At this year's competition there were 10 schools competing in the event itself, there were approximately 180 students in attendance that spanned 18 different schools. The schools who were not competing in the actual competition came for the panels and networking opportunities that were offered. The competition was held at DICK's headquarters in Pittsburgh. Some of the competing schools were: Pittsburg, Penn State, Duquesne, Robert Morris, Temple, Chatham, Washington & Jefferson, and Saint Vincent.
These students should be recognized and congratulated for all their hard work paid off.
